Never having had a Reiki treatment before I had no real idea what to expect, so I went with it with an open mind. Tamara is very calm and trusting person so it put me at ease and I felt relaxed in the comfort of my home environment.
I personally find it difficult to relax quickly and move into the groove in any therapy sessions, usually taking some time to find release.
The session lasted for an hour from beginning to end and throughout the session I couldn’t tell you how much time had past, something I am very conscious about normally. I was most surprised.
Beginning with some deep breathing I fell into a pattern of relaxed breathing and a calmness. I felt I was passing through light phases and not wanting or allowing myself to let any dark energy into my mind, tending to choose how I controlled moving into my space. I found this experience very interesting, almost a calmness to my crazy, busy mind. After finishing I sat with Tam and we quietly talked about how I felt and my experiences. I explained I felt very light and rather sleepy (maybe I was 😌 relaxed).
Almost accepting relaxed as a possibility for me (giggle). I would like to explore my therapy and further my experiences and the benefits of grounding and centralising my mind. For anyone wishing to explore inner healing/balance in their life, I encourage you to try a session with Tamara.
